Team Certification

USA Basketball Gold License (For Coaches Only)

All coaches on the bench must have their USA Basketball Gold License (USAB Gold).  The license program educates coaches while ensuring the safety of those with whom they come in contact.  Registration will open on October 1, 2025.  We recommend purchasing/renewing your USAB Gold License as soon as possible to take advantage of the lowest price.

The Basketball Certification System (BBCS)

*THIS CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR PLAYERS & COACHES*

The Basketball Certification process provides activity operators who agree to operate their activities in accordance with the applicable legislation and certification requirements the opportunity to receive League Certification to allow the participation of Division I student-athletes and/or Event Certification to allow NCAA Division I coaches to attend and observe prospective student-athletes who are participating in the activity.

  1. All rosters must be submitted to the BBCS system before the start of a given live-period event.
  2. All players must be certified to sit on the bench and participate.  All coaches must be certified to sit on the bench.
